Halewood Wines & Spirits Announced as Headline Sponsor of Bournemouth 7s Festival
11 May 2018
Bournemouth 7s Festival is proud to announce an exciting and innovative new partnership with Halewood Wines & Spirits, with collaboration across a diverse range of brands, sports, arenas and onsite experiences.
The link up sees Crabbie’s Ginger Beer become Bournemouth 7s Festivals’ Headline Sponsor and represents the latest in a long line of rugby partnerships for the world-famous brand. Crabbie’s will also become the Title Partner of the Crabbie’s National Cup, which welcomes 16 of the very best rugby 7s touring sides the world has to offer.
Festival-goers will be offered ample opportunity to experience the Scottish-brewed Crabbie’s at a number of locations across the 65 acre festival site. Located right in the centre of the Main Festival Arena, the Crabbie’s Experience will offer attendees the opportunity to sample their product range, take part in a range of rugby themed competitions and chill out between matches.
As part of the partnership, Lambrini has secured official naming rights of the Lambrini Netball Festival, a staple of Bournemouth 7s that has been ever-present since the event’s inception in 2008. Lambrini will also be exclusively sponsoring the elite level netball cup that will be aptly named the Lambrini Cup.
Over the weekend, Lambrini will be teaming up with their sister company Tequila Rose to offer netballers, supporters and intrigued by-passers a place to relax between games, as well as somewhere to purchase some of their delicious cocktails and long drinks!
Alongside their joint efforts with Lambrini, Tequila Rose will be sporting the title of Bournemouth 7s Festival 2018’s Official Shot with their famously tasty strawberry cream liqueur on offer over the course of the Festival weekend.
Taking the mantle of Bournemouth 7s Festival 2018’s Official Vodka is celebrated brand, Whitley Neill, which can be enjoyed in the relaxing surroundings of the Whitley Neill Cocktail Garden. A firm festival favourite, the garden presents the perfect location to enjoy a range of cocktails, sit down with friends and fully embrace the festival atmosphere.
Sadler’s Ales will be bringing their hugely popular Peaky Blinder alcoholic beverage range to the Festival. A brand new offering in a brand new area of the festival will be an amazing addition, offering elevated views across the Crabbie’s National Cup pitch and the women’s elite rugby competition.
The West Midlands based firm has been brewing top quality, hand crafted beers for over a 100 years and Sadler’s Ales will be offering festivalgoers the chance to try their Irish Whiskey, IPA and Pale Ale beverages at the Festival.
Roger Woodall, B7s CEO and Founder had the following to say when asked about the partnership:
‘Bournemouth 7s Festival is delighted to have built such an exciting relationship with an organisation that is as accomplished and forward thinking as Halewood Wines & Spirits. As a proud partner of Bournemouth 7s, they are bringing an unprecedented amount to the Festival and I really cannot wait to see festivalgoers enjoy all that they have to offer’.
