National Cup: Meet Our Elite 7s Invitational Teams

All spaces in the Bournemouth 7s Festival National Cup have been filled, and the competition is looking stronger than ever. As well as the many returners  we have some first-timers looking to make and impression on the 7s circuit.

We thought it’d be nice to introduce you to the teams, so here is the final line-up:

Apache

The current National Cup Champions are on a mission to reclaim their title in 2020.

Jamaica Rugby UK

Looking to develop potential Jamaican rugby players with an aim of playing for the Jamaican national team.

English Universities

The brightest and best talent from english universities will be putting in first class performances in the top tier.

Olorun Ponty Butcher

Established in 2007, this elite invitational welsh team topped their group last year with an impressive points difference.

Seventise

2017 National Cup Champions, these french boys are looking to add another piece of silverware to their collection.

Gogerddan Raiders

An invitational sevens team based in Cardigan, West Wales, Participating in numerous tournaments across Wales and the UK.

Shredded Ducks

Originating and based in Bristol,  these boys were semi-finalist in 2019.

The Voyagers

Wooden Spoon Marauders Men

The Braves

The Apache ‘academy’ side, where young players can be seen and learn the game and ageing Apache legends can pass on their experience.

Carmarthen Warriors

Living the dream all over the UK circuit since 2000 whilst raising funds for rugby related charities.

Army 7s
