Since 2008 Bournemouth 7s have thrown 12 Festivals for sports peoples and party lovers, establishing itself as a date that everyone puts in their calendar each year.
Now the World’s Largest Sport & Music Festival it has grown to attract 30,000 people to the south coast each year.
Curated and delivered by a small team based in Bournemouth, the festival was the brainchild of Roger & Fleur Woodall who still privately own the business to this day.
The entire B7s staff share a huge passion for sport, music and attention to detail.

2019 saw the introduction of the Funky Forest, Ya Mum’s House and the all new VIP Colourseum featuring an exclusive set from England rugby legend James Haskell. A headline performance from Professor Green capped off the best B7s to date!

With 2 new sports, 2 new arenas, a rebranded V.VIP Legends Lounge and a huge headline set from Example, the 2018 festival was a big step up! The brand new Bunker became an instant favourite among our fans, and has cemented it’s future at B7s!

The 10th anniversary was an incredible celebration. The 2017 festival added yet more musical legends to the growing list of memorable Bournemouth 7s performances, with Artful Dodger, MistaJam and Brandon Block all wowing the crowds.

2016 saw stand-out performances from Fatman Scoop and General Levy, along with the introduction of the Cocktail Garden, Garage Tent & Bulmers Arena. The perfect foundation to start preparations for the 10th Anniversary Festival in 2017!

The festival saw 386 teams take part across Rugby, Netball, Dodgeball and Hockey. The brand new Somersby Cider Garden was a highlight, whilst Kopparberg’s Big Top Dance Tent again proved to be a huge hit!

The introduction of Hockey 7s, alongside a host of new arenas including the Kopparberg Big Top Dance Tent and the Jägermeister German Beer Tent ensured this was the biggest and best Festival to date.

The introduction of Dodgeball to the sporting line-up proved a huge success with teams being made up of Dodgeball enthusiasts, groups of friends and sporting celebrities including Former England Rugby Captain Lewis Moody.

While Bournemouth 7s celebrated it’s 5th year, the 2012 Festival was proud to witness the birth of sister company Viper 10 Sportswear. This was to be the start of a very exciting year for the brand proclaimed as ‘The Next Generation in Sportswear’.

Adopting the nickname the ‘Sporting Glastonbury’, Bournemouth 7s 2011 invested heavily in the V.VIP Celebrity Lounge to create a truly memorable experience with hostess service, cocktail barmen, bongo players, themed furniture and decor creating an Ibiza chilled vibe.

The Festival Entertainment was taken to another level with 20 live bands and 10 DJs on the line up including an exclusive set in the VIP Arena by Radio 1’s DJ Spoony.

The first Bournemouth 7s Festival was a truly unique proposition combining amazing sport and brilliant entertainment.
